Collaboration with China
PSF and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) signed an MoU in 1992 for joint research with academic institutions. The MoU was revived in 2015. Since then, five successive calls of joint R&D proposals with NSFC, China have been launched, and the 2nd call of the Joint Scientific Exchange Program (JSEP) was recently launched in July, 2025.
- 57 Joint R&D Projects and 18 Exchange Projects have been funded so far.
- 13 projects were awarded under the 18th Pak-China Protocol on S&T Cooperation.
