Abouts PSF
The Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF), established under the PSF Act, 1973, is the national apex body for promoting and financing scientific research, innovation, and science popularization in Pakistan. Working under the Ministry of Science and Technology, PSF funds research projects, fellowships, scientific societies, and technology promotion initiatives while also engaging youth and the public through science awareness programs, science clubs, museums, and planetaria.
Chairman Message
At every level, science and technology play a vital role in addressing economic, social, and environmental challenges. Gaining scientific knowledge and developing suitable technologies are essential to achieving this objective. Additionally, it is important to adopt innovative and integrated approaches that enhance both existing and emerging scientific understanding. In this regard, universities, research and development institutions, and industry can take the lead in tackling the major issues identified to date.
