The Chairman of the Pakistan Science Foundation, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akmal, visited Hazara University, Mansehra

The Chairman of the Pakistan Science Foundation, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akmal, visited Hazara University, Mansehra, as part of the research monitoring and collaboration in Pakistan’s academic sector.

He was warmly received by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ikramullah Khan, along with the Dean of the Faculty of Biological and Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Inam Ullah, the Director ORIC, Dr. Masroor Ahmad Bangash, Manager Research and Development ORIC, Mr. Amjad Khan and Dr. Nisar Ahmad who is leading the PSF-NSLP funded project.

During the meeting, the Chairman was briefed on the ongoing research initiatives and academic progress. He acknowledged the university’s efforts to strengthen research output and assured continued support, particularly for projects focused on product development and practical applications.

Later, his visit to the Department of BGE laboratories further underscored this commitment. He appreciated the quality of research being conducted at the department and expressed strong interest in sustaining and expanding institutional support for future scientific work.

This visit reflects a positive alignment between national funding bodies and university research efforts, which is essential for advancing innovation and scientific development in the region.
