Linkage with France Institutions

Pakistan Science Foundation in collaboration with France is conducting different programmes for the uplift of socio-economic conditions of the country and improve life standard of common people. Following Scientific and Technological institutes of France are actively collaborating with PSF under different MoUs for the development of science and science education in the country.

Centre de culture scientifique, technique et industrielle-CCSTI, France:
Centre de culture scientifique, technique et industrielle-CCSTI, France and PSF are striving for sharing of expertise since December 21, 2011 after signing an MoU for organizing travelling expos, arranging workshops, conferences and trainings for project implementation and development tools for promotion and popularization of science in Pakistan.

Under this MoU, six international Traveling Expos on Mathematics, Environment, Biodiversity, Chemistry, Energy and Water have been organized in different cities of Pakistan.

Academie des Science, France:
Academie des Science, France under MoU signed with PSF in Dec. 2010, is collaborating for popularization of science in the remote areas of Pakistan. Both PSF and Academie des Science are mutually working to improve teaching and learning science at primary and secondary levels through an Inquiry Based Science Education (IBSE) programme. Under this effective collaboration, PSF have successfully organized 3 international training workshops, 01 national training workshop and 4 review meetings for Pakistani Teachers, establishment of 34 science clubs in Islamabad/Rawalpindi and Khyber Agency and training of 100 teachers. For the capacity building of human resources, 5 officers from PSF have also participated in LAMAP International Seminar held each year in Paris, France.
