Travel Grants for Developmentt
In order to boost the research activities through PSF registered Scientific Societies of Pakistan and to share the outcomes of research at the International forums, PSF PSDP project “Financial Support to Scientific Societies in Pakistan (Phase-II) Revised” FSSSP (from 1st July 2022) has been launched to extend financial assistance to the members of scientific societies and to the Ph.D. Scholars to meet their allied expenses for participation in the International Science Conferences, Seminars, workshops, symposia and sophisticated foreign trainings. Financial Assistance/ Allied expenses covers airfare and registration fee only.
Following provisions are available in FSSSP project:

A. For PSF Registered Society Members:
- A requisite for this grant is Oral Presentation of original research work at the top international conferences as invited speaker or to give plenary talk/lead paper presentation only and such funding is subjected to review of applications keeping in view the quality of conferences.
- The applicant should be a Ph.D. student enrolled with a HEC recognized Public Sector University.
- The research paper should be based on the Ph.D. work in Pakistan.
- Applicants who are invited to attend short term training courses (1 to 2 weeks or maximum one month duration) or who have been offered training facility on operation of sophisticated lab equipment in the laboratories of advanced countries will also be eligible to apply for grants on the production of valid invitation/approval letter.
